Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at HI-RISE CARPENTRY LIMITED. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to designated areas.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean up chemical spills, remove rubble and debris, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Team Support: Instruct apprentices and tend to or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
