Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at WORLD FOOD NETWORK INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in our restaurant.

Food and Supply Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory management.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Quality Control and Customer Service

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Administrative Tasks

Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Work Scheduling and Supervision

Establish work schedules, supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, and ensure a fast-paced and efficient work environment.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Environment

Noisy and hot work environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Capabilities

Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, team player, and initiative.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
