We are currently seeking an Environmental Project Leader to become part of our Resilience Team in Calgary, Alberta, specifically within our Evaluation and Restoration (ER) Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental site assessment projects, including risk assessments and remediation initiatives.
- Utilize provincial and federal regulatory frameworks to interpret environmental data and ensure compliance with applicable standards and guidelines.
- Provide project management for a variety of environmental projects, from small to complex, ensuring effective scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Mentor and support intermediate and junior staff, fostering a culture of health and safety, collaboration, and high-quality work.
- Oversee technical tasks and field programs related to contaminated site investigations, feasibility studies, and monitoring programs.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in managing contaminated sites and remediation projects.
- Proven expertise in environmental compliance and familiarity with provincial and federal legislation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective planning and decision-making.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.
