Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Technician to join our team in Burlington. As an Environmental Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive assessments and investigations to ensure environmental management best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments to identify potential environmental hazards
  • Review historical data and conduct site inspections to inform remediation efforts
  • Monitor and sample soil, groundwater, and surface water to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Implement procedures for air and soil vapor sampling to identify potential contaminants
  • Participate in contaminant remediation efforts to restore environmental health
  • Conduct investigations into hazardous materials to identify potential risks
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports to inform stakeholders
  • Maintain effective communication with on-site supervisors and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or engineering
  • Proven understanding of groundwater monitoring and sampling techniques, soil descriptions, and terminology
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
