JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will oversee the effective and profitable management of approximately 10-15 retail locations. This position is vital for ensuring operational stability and plays a key role within our business unit. You will serve as a bridge between our retail outlets and the Support Office, collaborating closely with District Managers, Corporate Store Managers, and Business Partners to ensure the successful implementation of company-led initiatives, promotions, and marketing strategies. This role encompasses management of stores within the designated area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide support to a team of store operators in all facets of retail operations.
  • Oversee controls, promotional activities, paperwork flow, community engagement, store evaluations, and overall performance metrics.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, engagement, and promptly address escalated customer issues.
  • Conduct market meetings, deliver training programs, and communicate directives to store operators.
  • Supervise daily store operations, cleanliness, inventory levels, and enforce corporate policies and procedures.
  • Monitor sales performance, competitive pricing, sales incentives, and promotional campaigns. Implement all security, mystery shopping, and health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all company standards and government regulations, including ESA, WCB, and Food Safety at each location.
  • Actively engage in the recruitment, selection, and development of store operators and corporate managers.
  • Reduce loss prevention risks by enforcing inventory controls, levels, turnover, and theft investigations.
  • Accountable for P&L, achieving top-line sales goals, and executing contracts.
  • Communicate necessary information and reports through appropriate channels.
  • Coordinate and manage external services as needed.
  • Follow merchandising guidelines, store layouts, and participate in store renovations.
  • Undertake any special projects as assigned.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a retail or food service environment is required.
  • Proven leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and resourcefulness are essential.
  • Customer service-oriented, emotionally intelligent, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for operating a company vehicle.
