Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
