Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at White Spot Duncan. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to management.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control costs associated with food, labor, and supplies, and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews with staff members, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve goals.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
