About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Brilliance Homes Balzac Inc. as a Construction Assistant. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Assist in Drilling and Blasting Rock: Assist experienced drillers and blasters in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning equipment, tools, and work areas, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a clean and safe working area.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and vehicles.
Work Environment
  • On-the-Road Job: This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel to various construction sites.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering stability and opportunities for growth.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours: The workweek consists of 35 hours per week, providing a healthy work-life balance.
