About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing Inc. as a Flat Roofing Technician. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing flat roofing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair flat roofing systems, including conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing systems.
  • Work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments.
  • Operate aerial lifts and aerial work platforms, and use safety equipment such as steel-toed safety boots, hard hats, safety glasses/goggles, and safety harnesses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • 1-7 months of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Valid certifications, such as Aerial Lift and Aerial Work Platform Certification, Rough Terrain Forklift Training, and Working at Heights Training.
