Are you a natural leader with a passion for maintenance and a knack for mentoring others? Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our multi-family residential buildings in Campbell River.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the maintenance team's activities and prioritize work orders based on urgency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and systems to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Support the completion of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with the site manager and maintenance technicians to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Respond to emergency situations and work an on-call rotation as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in commercial/residential maintenance, with a minimum of two years' experience managing or leading staff.
  • Completion of relevant trade or technical certification an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills for Microsoft Office products, running reports, and completing electronic work orders.
  • Effective communication skills and strong customer focus.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, problem-solve, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
