Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Champs Day Care Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to infants and toddlers in our childcare centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Assist in keeping records
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and team player
