Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and providing guidance to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports, ensure accuracy of financial transactions, and maintain financial records.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior staff members, provide guidance and support, and ensure smooth operation of the accounting department.
- Operational Efficiency: Coordinate activities with other departments, ensure efficient use of resources, and implement process improvements.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Quick Books, Salesforce, and accounting software.
Fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Willing to relocate and work under pressure.
Personal Suitability:- Accurate: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others and provide guidance and support.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Hours:30 to 40 hours per week.
