Position Overview

As a Culinary Specialist at MAGLICIOUS, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Core Duties
  • Maintain comprehensive records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operational expenses and other relevant data to optimize efficiency.
  • Demonstrate innovative cooking techniques and equipment usage to kitchen staff.
  • Supervise the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel.
  • Create and develop new recipes to enhance the menu offerings.
  • Instruct kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, including special events and functions.
  • Manage food requisition and kitchen supply procurement.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases and maintenance.
  • Consult with clients for events such as weddings and banquets.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants.
  • Design menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Prepare dishes accommodating food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Recruit and hire culinary staff as needed.
  • Train kitchen personnel in food preparation and safety protocols.
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 kitchen staff.
