Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budget process and provide internal budget training and oversight to ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement financial models to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor the Accounting team to ensure efficient and effective financial operations, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow management, financial reporting, sales tax, and benefits administration.
  • Participate in and lead special projects related to organizational growth or adaptability to changing organizational needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and act as an escalation point for all internal control concerns.
  • Ensure timely completion of the annual external audit and implement auditors' recommendations to maintain high standards of financial governance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to direct financial planning and strategy for the business.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior members of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
