Job Summary

CYMI Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical & Controls Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical and controls teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, resource allocation plans, and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure project success.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, cost reports, and quality control metrics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus post-secondary training in a related field (e.g., electrical engineering, construction management).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and controls construction, including project management, supervision, and coordination.
  • Proven track record of successful project execution, including on-time completion and budget adherence.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, methods, and processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required.
