Financial Cost Analyst Job Description

Fed Finance is seeking a highly skilled Financial Cost Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Cost Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our clients' financial operations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all inventory costing activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain the integral costing process, including standards, policies, and governance structure.
  • Identify and communicate savings opportunities based on data-driven analysis, driving business growth and cost reduction.
  • Design and implement tools and platforms to streamline costing processes, improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive a comprehensive policy for rates, methods, and reporting standardization, ensuring transparency and comparability across all bids, suppliers, and product segments.
  • Analyze development costing information to ensure accuracy and identify variances, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the local and international sales pricing process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for costing and pricing, providing timely and accurate support to clients.
  • Run and analyze existing reports, editing and creating new reports as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Manage cost-related information, ensuring internal customers have access to up-to-date and accurate data.
Your Profile:
  • CPA designation (an asset)
  • 3 years or more in a manufacturing or product development environment
  • 3 years of business analysis experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or related field
  • Analytical skills leading to decision making and problem solving
  • Experience in complex data analysis and strong computer skills required
  • Ability to research and combine data from multiple sources
