Financial Cost Analyst

Fed Finance is seeking a highly skilled Financial Cost Analyst to join our team in the West of Montreal, in Saint-Laurent. This is a permanent, hybrid position (2 days remote).

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all inventory costing activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain the integral costing process, including standards, policies, and governance structure.
  • Identify and communicate savings opportunities based on data-driven analysis, driving business growth and cost reduction.
  • Design and implement tools and platforms that streamline costing processes, improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive policy for rates, methods, and reporting standardization, ensuring transparency and comparability across all bids, suppliers, and product segments.
  • Analyze development costing information to ensure accuracy and identify variances, making informed decisions.
  • Participate in the local and international sales pricing process, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for costing and pricing, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Run and analyze existing reports, editing and creating new reports as needed, to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage cost-related information, ensuring internal customers have access to up-to-date and accurate data.
Requirements:
  • CPA designation (an asset)
  • 3 years or more in a manufacturing or product development environment
  • 3 years of business analysis experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills leading to decision making and problem solving
  • Experience in complex data analysis and strong computer skills required
  • Ability to research and combine data from multiple sources
