Job Summary

Pipestrong Plumbing and Heating Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will be responsible for assisting experienced plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Piping System Installation: Assist in the installation of new piping systems, including measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required shape and size.
  • Piping System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and testing piping systems, to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Plumbing System Repair: Assist in the repair of damaged or malfunctioning plumbing systems, including identifying and fixing leaks, and replacing faulty components.
Work Environment

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work in a fast-paced commercial and residential setting, often on the road. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, team player.
Working Conditions

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will be required to work 80 hours bi-weekly, with a permanent work term. You will be working in a commercial and residential setting, often on the road.
