As a Concrete Finishing Specialist at First Call Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of concrete surfaces. Your expertise will contribute to both commercial and residential projects, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
The role involves working in dusty conditions across various job sites, including both commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
- Utilize power vibrators to effectively compact concrete.
- Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths.
- Apply hardening and sealing agents to enhance surface durability.
- Implement waterproofing and damp-proofing techniques to restore surfaces.
This position is physically demanding, requiring stamina and strength to perform various tasks effectively.
Required Tools- Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory for this role.
- Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and efficiency are essential traits for success in this position.
A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred. This is a permanent position, with working hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.
