Job Summary:The Legal Talent Specialist will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of employment services for legal professionals, including leave of absences, office and client secondments, transfers, status changes, onboarding, and departures.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively execute employment service programs for legal professionals, including leave of absences, office and client secondments, transfers, status changes, onboarding, and departures.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for legal professionals, including drafting job ads, coordinating approvals, implementing recruitment strategies, driving the interview and offer process, and conducting reference checks.
- Act as a primary point of contact for legal professionals on employment services, policies, and recruitment matters.
- Organize and coordinate various team building events for legal professionals.
- Support the performance management processes for legal professionals.
- Develop, maintain, and update national talent management template letters/memos as well as protocols and checklists impacting our legal professionals.
- Participate in and lead various projects and programs related to legal professionals.
This position requires a post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline plus a minimum of three years' relevant experience ideally gained in professional services or a law firm. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:- Proactive self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
- Stellar organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
- Client service-oriented with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, and ViRecruit.
