Job Title: Senior Associate
Talent Depot is currently in search of a dedicated Senior Associate to enhance our team. This role is essential for delivering comprehensive Audit & Accounting, Tax, Advisory, and Bookkeeping services to a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed businesses and Not-For-Profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess 3 - 4 years of experience within a Canadian CPA firm environment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in compilation engagements, tax return preparation, audit, and review engagements.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Caseware, Caseview, and TaxPrep software.
  • Handle the preparation of tax returns, payroll processing, and government-related filings.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an accounting firm setting.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with TaxPrep, Caseware, Caseview, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CPA certification in progress is preferred.
  • Experience in a mid-sized or smaller firm is advantageous.
