We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at Centerra Gold's Mount Milligan Mine. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our mine's maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date asset management schedules to ensure optimal equipment utilization and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities, including shutdowns and equipment repairs.
- Collaborate with the maintenance planning team to create and refine work packages, including parts requirements and procurement.
- Manage and maintain equipment history and component tracking to ensure accurate maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain a rolling schedule for the next three weeks, ensuring accurate handoff to the planning team for the current week.
- Update work order statuses to reflect parts readiness and coordinate with purchasing for buying and expediting needs.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by the department head.
- 3-5 years of varied maintenance experience within the mining industry, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the operation.
- SAP experience is an asset.
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment is an asset.
