We are seeking a Laboratory Science Technician to join our team. This position demands a candidate with laboratory expertise, knowledge of specific tools and equipment, and a strong commitment to quality and precision.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of tasks with precision and efficiency
  • Exhibit proficiency in specimen management and prioritize sample processing
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing under supervision
  • Address Quality Assurance metrics and escalate issues as necessary
  • Perform maintenance on instruments and ensure the appropriate use of materials
  • Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • WHMIS certification
  • Registered Laboratory Assistant (OSMT) certification is optional
  • Prior laboratory experience is preferred
