AGAT Laboratories is a leading provider of laboratory services in Canada, with a strong presence across the country. Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering high-quality results in a range of fields, including biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, geology, and engineering.

We are currently seeking a skilled Sample Preparation Technician to join our team in Thunder Bay. As a key member of our laboratory support team, you will play a critical role in preparing samples for analysis, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely results.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for unpacking, sorting, checking, crushing, and pulverizing mineral samples using specialized equipment, as well as performing quality control checks and entering sample data into our computer system.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma and be able to lift 25 kg on a consistent basis. Fork lift certification is an asset, and you will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, and have intermediate computer skills.
