About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Juice Dudez. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and portion and wrap foods for customers.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and provide a welcoming and friendly service.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, and provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
