We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team at 2463259 ALBERTA LTD.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications. This will involve fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required, as well as operating sewing machines or sewing by hand.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors. They will also be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.

We are looking for a team player who is organized, reliable, and hardworking. The successful candidate will have a strong client focus and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The job requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field, with a permanent position and 32-40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.

Responsibilities:
  • Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications
  • Fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required
  • Operating sewing machines or sewing by hand
  • Marking, cutting, and sewing fabric
  • Working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent position
  • 32-40 hours of work per week
  • English language proficiency
