Job Title: Registered Nurse - Day Treatment

Sinai Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Day Treatment department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver life-changing care.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive, quality patient/family-centered health care services, including:

  • Providing competent, evidence-based nursing practice
  • Meeting the standards and exercising judgment for providing safe, competent, and ethical nursing care
  • Providing nursing care in collaboration with the patient, significant others, and interprofessional team
  • Establishing a patient care plan based on bio-psychosocial and spiritual needs assessment and integrating other health professionals' recommendations
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Undergraduate degree in nursing preferred
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Recent completion of a physical assessment course preferred
  • Familiarity with Regulated Health Professions Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario, and Bridgepoint Hospital's policies, procedures, and standards
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Superior assessment and clinical skills
  • Demonstrated ability in providing patient-focused care
  • Proven ability to make decisions and manage workload in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of oral and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others, including patients and their families
  • Evidence of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
  • Computer proficiency
  • Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance required to perform the role, as determined by the needs of the position and based on assessment conducted by Occupational Health Services
