Position Overview

Are you interested in playing a vital role in the advancement of electric transportation? As a member of the Product Testing, Validation, and Verification team, you will collaborate with product development, validation, and marketing teams. In this internship, you will support V&V project managers and the Validation and Test team in ensuring our products are validated for future electric vehicles. Your involvement will include defining, executing, and implementing testing strategies for our electric propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities

Your tasks will include:

  1. Preparing, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on the status of product validation projects to align with customer timelines.
  2. Tracking and ensuring the delivery of validation inputs.
  3. Assisting the Laboratory Planner to enhance laboratory efficiency.
  4. Supporting the Laboratory Coordinator in maintaining up-to-date laboratory equipment tracking tools.
  5. Updating and maintaining the Design Validation Plan & Reports (DVP&R).
  6. Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for laboratory validation and testing processes.
  7. Contributing to the update of the laboratory's catalog of testing standards.

Your qualifications should include:

  • A third-year bachelor's degree in mechanical, software, or electrical engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Essential: A proactive approach and comfort in a dynamic work environment.
  • Essential: Curiosity, autonomy, and leadership qualities.
  • Essential: Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Asset: Experience in project management.
  • Asset: Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Asset: Background in testing and validation.
  • Asset: Knowledge of programming languages.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to document work effectively.
  • Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written).
