Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Optical Associate to join our team at our LaSalle clinic. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, providing exceptional customer experience, and contributing to the success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear, including frames and lenses, to suit their lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.
- Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to returning patients' eyewear.
- Place contact lens orders and assist with fittings.
- Communicate with patients in person, by phone, and via email to ensure seamless service.
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards, using charisma and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment.
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
- Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional patient care.
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
