Position Overview:
As a clinic nurse at Coverdale Clinics, you will have the chance to acquire new professional competencies and gain invaluable career experience.
With our favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and a focus on patient-centered care, you will deliver exceptional patient care services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering specialized IV and injection therapies;
- Conducting general health and medication education;
- Providing patient care through observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health education;
- Documenting client conditions in accordance with Coverdale Infusion Clinics Inc. standards;
- Offering guidance, support, and delegation to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses as needed.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of recent acute care experience, ideally in a hospital environment; ICU and/or ER experience is advantageous;
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current registration in good standing with the provincial licensing authority;
- Training and experience in the preparation and administration of medications via all routes;
- Experience with CVADs is beneficial;
- The ability to read and interpret technical instructions related to client care;
- Experience in biologics/infusions is regarded as an asset.
Job Status:
This is a casual position requiring 1 shift per week, with the possibility of additional shifts.
