Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional and physical support to residents, including those with dementia and other cognitive impairments
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
  • One year of experience as a Health Care Aide, preferably in a personal care home setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical and mental ability to perform the duties of the position
