We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geophysics Student to join our team at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. As a Seismic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in unraveling the Earth’s subsurface mysteries using seismic imaging methods. Your key responsibilities will include tying multiple seismic datasets for time, amplitude, and phase consistency on geophysical workstations, QC well logs and tie them to seismic data, pick pertinent target horizons on 2D and/or 3D seismic data, generate geophysical maps, support Area Geophysicists in finding new reserves, generate synthetic seismograms and create seismic models, and work with software applications for mapping and data analysis.
To be successful in this role, you must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, be physically and mentally fit for work, motivated, and have a sense of ownership and responsibility for project outcomes.
