The Customs and Transport Specialist will leverage their knowledge to support the Transport & Customs Team in ensuring adherence to regulatory and local compliance standards. This role involves working closely with the existing team to verify that incoming products and all logistics-related operations align with Roche's internal quality benchmarks and industry-leading practices. The responsibilities for this position encompass a mix of routine tasks and customs-specific duties.
Key Responsibilities
Customs-Related Tasks
- Collaborate with the Senior Customs Specialist to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders and partners, ensuring that compliance requirements and practices are clearly understood and integrated into relevant business operations.
- Serve as a pivotal resource for compliance-related inquiries and guidance.
Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze customs regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Assist in the development of training materials for team members regarding customs and transport regulations.
