Key Responsibilities:- Conduct pricing evaluations and segmentation analyses on personal and commercial farm insurance to assess rate adequacy and risk quality.
- Innovate rate review methodologies to enhance pricing sophistication.
- Utilize both internal and external data sources to refine pricing segmentation.
- Monitor the performance of the insurance portfolio and the effectiveness of underwriting strategies.
- Communicate pricing analyses and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences, including leadership, underwriters, and brokers.
- Mentor junior analysts in technical skills and analytical techniques.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. An ACAS designation is considered an asset. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, R, Python, or other relevant software is required. Experience with WTW Radar and Emblem is advantageous. Attention to detail is crucial to minimize technical errors during analysis.
