We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. You must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
