Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Associate is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient dining environment. This position requires no formal education, although prior experience in a similar setting is considered beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Setting: Arrange clean dishes, utensils, and other items in serving areas to ensure a welcoming dining experience.
  • Sanitation Duties: Regularly clean and disinfect items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs promptly after use.
  • Dishwasher Operation: Efficiently load and operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Storage Management: Organize and place dishes in designated storage areas.
  • Supply Replenishment: Ensure condiments and other necessary supplies are stocked at tables and serving stations.
  • Hand Washing: Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items as needed.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in portioning, wrapping, and preparing simple food items for service.
  • Customer Service: Take orders and serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a friendly demeanor.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by sanitizing work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate areas.
  • Waste Disposal: Responsible for the removal of kitchen garbage and trash.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
