About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Site Lead for our school-age programs. As a Site Lead, you will work alongside a team of passionate and caring educators to provide high-quality education and care to children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality education and care to children
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of staff and children
  • Develop and implement play-based experiences that promote children's learning and development
  • Manage administrative tasks, including billing, accounts receivable, and child care waitlists
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the program meets licensing standards and Compass ELC values
  • Provide nutritious snacks and meals to children
  • Welcoming and training new staff into the program
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience working with children and youth
  • Familiarity with the Child Care Early Years Act and licensing standards
  • Valid certifications, including Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check, Standard First Aid, and CPR Level C
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators or a post-secondary degree in a similar field
