**Preferred Qualifications**

At least one year of previous experience working in a childcare setting.

Criminal Reference Check (18+ years of age) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (19+ years of age) in accordance with the Police Record Checks Reform Act (PRCRA). Applications can be completed online through your local Police station.

Must have valid Standard First Aid and CPR level C that includes infant and child or willingness to acquire

Completion of secondary school or GED

Current certification in Standard Infant/Child CPR and First Aid, G License. HIGH FIVE Principals of Healthy Child Development would be an asset.

Effective communication skills

Knowledge of child development, HDLH and early learning best practices

**Salary**: $17.50 / hour plus $2.00 / hour WEG
