About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Marine Seafood. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and select high-quality merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory turnover and minimizing stockouts.
  • Merchandise Distribution: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Requirements Analysis: Review the requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
