Job Title: ICT Security Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ICT Security Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA). As an ICT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining managed security services and supporting cybersecurity practices within the Digital Shared Services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to security alerts and customer-reported cybersecurity issues
  • Support Digital Shared Services cybersecurity incident response and vulnerability management practices
  • Ensure managed security services are deployed and operating
  • Maintain the security awareness program

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in enterprise information technology providing infrastructure support
  • Diploma in information technology from an accredited postsecondary institution
  • Vendor and industry certifications in specific technologies and functions are assets
  • Valid Manitoba driver's license and use of personal motor vehicle for occasional travel

Working Conditions:

  • Typical of working at a computer in an environmentally controlled office environment
  • Lifting and moving large computer equipment up to 50 lbs
  • On-call rotation of evenings/weekends and some overtime as required
