Job Title: Home Support Worker - Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary:

Labclinic56 is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily tasks and activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily tasks and activities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and using the restroom
  • Perform housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients to help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Transport clients to and from social gatherings, doctor's appointments, and other activities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a personal care or home assistance certificate or certification program an asset
  • Previous experience working in a home support or personal care role an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
