About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Regional Counsel to join our Legal Department at Stryker Canada ULC. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic business advice and support to our Canadian business, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation
  • Provide timely and solutions-oriented support to internal stakeholders on Canadian laws, rules, and regulations
  • Draft and negotiate various types of partnership, customer, and vendor agreements
  • Conduct complex legal analysis and review advertising and marketing materials for compliance
  • Support large transactional matters such as global acquisitions
  • Maintain working knowledge of current and emerging laws and regulations
  • Partner with external and internal counsel to support the needs of the Canadian business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10 years of general work experience is required
  • 5+ years of legal counsel experience gained in a large firm environment and/or relevant in-house position
  • JD from a recognized Canadian law school and active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario is required
  • French Bilingual is a strong asset
  • Experience supporting business in Quebec is highly desirable
