Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Grocery Operations Supervisor to lead our Night Shift team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department, maintaining optimal stock levels, and presenting a well-organized and appealing store for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Oversee the receiving process, verifying merchandise accuracy and quality.
- Direct and supervise staff in stocking shelves, rotating products, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Manage product orders for the following day, ensuring adequate stock availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a grocery retail environment, with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong merchandising skills and knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
