RBC Dominion Securities Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Application Specialist to join our Training & Development department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one and team training to our branch teams across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training sessions in-person and virtually via WebEx to help branch teams improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Train and coach learners on relevant tasks and business applications related to account administration, portfolio management, trading, client relationship management, and wealth management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, guiding learners on how to use business applications to their best advantage.
  • Identify opportunities to share best practices and help branch teams increase efficiency and scale their business.
  • Stay up-to-date with new applications, their business relevance, strategy, and benefits.
  • Support the rollout of Salesforce and other technology changes or releases as they occur.
  • Deliver presentations to provide timely updates and support branch initiatives.
  • Participate in various special team initiatives or projects as needed.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the wealth management industry.
  • In-branch retail brokerage experience with a strong understanding of business applications, processes, and tasks.
  • Aptitude toward learning new software and ability to be self-taught.
  • Ability to demonstrate and present essential information in a concise way.
  • Above-average interpersonal skills, ability to relate to a variety of individuals, including investment advisors and investment counsellors.
  • Ability to balance multiple and shifting priorities based on firm needs.
  • Able to work from a home office that meets our standards.
  • Flexibility to travel locally and across Canada when required.
