Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Karim Lalji. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them to become confident and independent individuals.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children receive a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing emotional support and comfort when needed.
  • Screening questions:
    • Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?
    • Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
    • What is the highest level of study you have completed?
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare.
  • Health care plan provided by Karim Lalji.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • 30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the family.
Language

English is the primary language spoken in this role.
