POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of skilled Mobile Service Technicians to provide an outstanding mobile service experience. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of automotive services and mechanical repairs at customer-preferred locations. The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $120,000, with tools provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess scheduled tasks, determine necessary corrective actions, and verify parts availability.
  • Ensure service vehicles are equipped with the necessary parts and tools for repairs.
  • Adhere to planned routes and maintain punctuality for customer appointments.
  • Deliver exceptional mobile service, consistently meeting and exceeding customer service KPIs.
  • Educate customers on technical aspects and general vehicle usage.
  • Conduct a variety of repairs, including but not limited to, interior component replacements, general maintenance, diagnostics, and fluid replenishments.
  • Complete service repair orders and confirm electronic payment from customers.
  • Communicate with Service Centre staff for follow-up on any unexpected repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to VinFast's repair guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with all municipal and provincial regulations.
  • Operate and care for various hand and power tools, as well as mobile service vehicles.
  • Keep the mobile service vehicle clean and in good working order.
  • Document time, expenses, and materials accurately.
  • Assist Service Centre locations as needed and support offsite events.
  • Collaborate with Service Centre teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities.
  • Provide constructive feedback on service procedures to enhance quality.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with preference for experience in electric vehicle brands.
  • Valid 310S License (or equivalent).
  • Clean driver's license and driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in English.
  • Technical engagement with customers is essential.
  • Passion for electric vehicles and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for work assignments.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
  • Familiarity with EV architecture and diagnostic tools.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
