National Construction Safety Officer

Haztech Energy Corp is seeking a qualified National Construction Safety Officer to join our team in Saskatchewan. This individual must possess a CSO designation and have a minimum of 2 years of safety experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for the project related to health and safety. This will involve actively monitoring and verifying processes to ensure timely completion of key activities and verifying deviations or exceptions in performance.
The role will also include managing review guidance documents and site-specific policies/procedures, ensuring operations comply with site requirements. The candidate will provide support/guidance during planning meetings and operations meetings to ensure risks are adequately identified and controlled to the level of safety requirements.
The duties will include site safety supervision, regular inspections of the worksite to ensure compliance and risk identification/control audits of Safe Work Permits, Tool Box Talks, and other permits as required for high-hazard tasks. The candidate will also assist with incident reporting/investigations/corrective actions.
Requirements- CSO designation
- Minimum 2 years of safety experience
- Experience with working at heights, confined space, excavation, hot work, lockout/tagout, and scaffolding
- Experience providing site safety supervision
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Valid driver's license and criminal record clearance
