Position Overview:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embody and promote the core values and mission of Wing Kei.
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living tasks to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Support the nursing team by observing, documenting, and communicating any changes in client conditions.
- Facilitate medication administration and execute care plans to ensure client safety.
- Provide emotional, cognitive, and social support to clients, contributing to their overall quality of life.
- Engage in continuous training to uphold the highest standards of service and care practices.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate or an approved Competency Assessment within the first six months of employment.
- Current registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
- Demonstrated respect, diligence, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and healthcare teams.
- Preferred experience in Long Term Care or Support Living environments.
