About the Role

Bombardier is a leading manufacturer of aircraft, and we're seeking a skilled Methods Agent to join our team. As a Methods Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate and correct assembly specifications or manufacturing routines to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings and documents from the engineering department to inform assembly and manufacturing strategies.
  • Develop and implement assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components, ensuring optimal production processes.
  • Define the tools required for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components, ensuring geometric tolerancing and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments to harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies.
  • Provide production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support departments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in research and development projects to enhance assembly and manufacturing strategies.
Requirements
  • A college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, or a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read technical drawings and possess good 3D visualization skills.
  • Logical and mechanically minded, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Ms Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and computer-aided drafting software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French, and a good knowledge of English.
