Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00

We are looking for a Financial Operations Supervisor for our client, who will take charge of overseeing a team to ensure that tasks are efficiently allocated and executed with precision and punctuality. This role requires working under stringent deadlines and providing support to the financial controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, audit, and supervise general administrative operations, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger, and taxation.
  • Exhibit consistent, equitable, and assertive leadership.
  • Guide, train, and mentor team members to meet departmental performance indicators.
  • Review and analyze journal entries, bank statements, expenditures, GST and PST filings, and other financial documents.
  • Track and maintain staff leave records using a spreadsheet.
  • Update, manage, analyze, and monitor administrative reports and records.
  • Gather and provide information for audit inquiries and assist accountants.
  • Oversee all administrative, financial, and payroll activities.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive behavioral change.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in administration and/or finance.
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies.
  • Experience in cost management is essential.
  • Familiarity with Great Plains software is advantageous.
  • Skilled in data entry and management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-driven with excellent multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
Compensation & Schedule:
  • $80K - $100K Annually
  • Full-time Position, Monday to Friday
